The spare ribs, pizzas and salads there are really great. Prices are okay and the toilets are clean!

Cafe Del Sol convinces again. The new decor and menu are convincing! Great waiter, reservation worked great. Fair prices, food quality +++++ Gladly again, Cafe del Sol has apparently got the curve again and it's going uphill! KEEP IT UP!

The Schnitzel del Sol is simply unbeatable. Maybe the best in all of Stuttgart. Also the fries incredibly good ... Two star deduction for the non-carbonated cola although there was no ice in it ... After I mentioned that, a new cola came immediately ... unfortunately it is also not carbonated!

Really disappointing, can't say anything positive here. We waited 25 minutes before we could order. Drinks and food came at the same time. Unfortunately the food was cold, but the service staff was no longer available to communicate this. When clearing this was only accepted although the plate was still full. No new warm portion. The glasses were sticky, which was replaced or poured over after a complaint. Unfortunately, only when clearing the dishes. Unfortunately, the toilets were also in a not recommendable condition. Really a shame and then completely overpriced.

The food used to be a lot better. I think price / performance just doesn't fit together anymore, which is a shame And I thought schnitzel holiday means you can eat as many schnitzel as you can and not that it ends at 4 ...

Telephone reservations were not on the list when we visited the establishment. Got "cat table" even though the restaurant was only 50% occupied during our visit. Service was very friendly. Unfortunately the bacon on the hamburger was still raw and the hamburger itself was lukewarm. The place is ticked for me.

We left after 10-15 minutes, waiting for the menu. 2 waitresses passed us several times and ignored us. When we got up one of the guys came ... too late. Already had no more desire. It wasn't busy. Therefore not to blame the "stress". We've been back to Cafe del Sol for a long time. Nobody sees us that fast anymore. Afterwards we had delicious food elsewhere. And there we were not ignored.

The food is very good and the cocktails are always good too. Unfortunately it is very loud inside and it is quite echoing. Sometimes you can hardly talk at peak times in the evening. Prices are a little more expensive.

Great, relaxed location. There is good food and a good selection of drinks here. The staff is friendly and had a short time for a chat, even though it was full that evening. We had ordered the 1/2 meter pizza, pasta, a salad and a burger. Everything was delicious and served quickly, despite the fact that it was so full. Important, it is better to reserve at the weekend, that's how we did it, otherwise you have to wait until something becomes available. I think it is very positive and exemplary that all drinks are served with a paper drinking straw on which the company logo is printed instead of a plastic drinking straw. We can only recommend it and will be back.

I have been a huge fan of the concept of the Café del sol for years. This visit also completely inspired me ... Nice employees despite the mask on the face at 30 degrees ... As usual, very good food quality ... very good compliance with the Corona concept ... hardly any waiting time neither at the entrance, when ordering, bringing food and also not with the bill ... keep it up ... I was almost influenced by some negative reviews ... I can only recommend it to everyone recommend

The food is very good and the ambience is very nice. Unfortunately the service staff is very unfriendly and not attentive when taking orders. (Which does not apply to every waiter and can certainly be traced back to stressful situations!) We would like to be able to give the full stars again on another visit and hope for friendlier staff.

Excessive prices are still very important here! In terms of taste, the food is really nothing special. The portions are quite small, tall men or athletes with an appetite won't be satisfied here. The service depends on the waiter: Depending on the rush and motivation, you can easily wait 20 minutes to be served. The selection of wholesome meals as well as the promotions from Monday to Thursday raise the rating to 2 stars.

Location very nice and enough parking spaces in front of the house. Two stars for that. Burger unfortunately with frozen patty (in 2020), bowl much too spicy (maybe you ask in advance) and spare ribs underground dry. You can also give yourself the loveless dollop of coleslaw. After the main course was served, nobody showed up. Possibly. another drink? Maybe a dessert? 20 minutes after the main course was finished, someone took pity on the call to take another order .. invoice then the same again ?! Surrounding tables play the same game, looks say more than a thousand words. Less interested in the well-being and satisfaction of the guests. As the boss, I would turn the "training screw" if more sales and satisfaction are desired. It's about having a good time and feeling good, not the struggle after drinking and eating. Understand who wants ... Oh yes, and the reservation by phone also underground. Either nobody answers or you are simply pushed away. It's not exactly inviting. When you arrive you end up in line with the "spontaneous" guests "for half an hour. You definitely can't miss your reserved table, because the employee has definitely not looked at a list (if there is one). What. What." would have happened if there were no more tables available?

We were at the CDS for the first time today and loved it. The order was taken quickly for the 3 of us and we didn't have to wait long for it. It was all very fresh and tasted very good. We were also delighted that sustainability is being looked at here. Plastic is avoided and instead, biodegradable raw materials are used. 👍

Unfortunately, it depends a lot on which waiter you catch and how motivated he is that day. We had to ask for the bill 4 times on our last visit and were about to get up and leave. Our address data was on the table, thanks to the Corona concept. It's a shame, because I like to meet friends here and the food and drinks on offer are also very tasty.

Unfortunately we had to wait a long time in front of the door because the waiter messed up the order of the waiting guests. It was very hot inside and the noise level is quite high! The drinks came after the meal, with one coming much later than the rest. The meal also came in two stages? Beer warm. Unfortunately a bit chaotic! In terms of price, not necessarily low (salad), if you look at the portions! - really small. Cherry tomatoes: 2? Amex payment is not possible. Nevertheless, I have to say that the location itself is very nice. There are parking spaces on site and the menu is great in itself, everyone will find something here. We were also satisfied with the taste. We would probably come again, but we would like it to be a little more organized, as we have already experienced it several times. Larger salad portions are also welcome for the price.

Food OK.. service OK .. but could be better

If I were to summarize in one phrase my experience at this location, I would say this is a pleasant experience in a pleasant place! The food was awesome! The servings are rather on the large size, but delicious all the way. The small hiccups, like bringing the cheese for the ravioli a couple of minutes late, quickly dissipated in front of the great taste. The drinks came fast, although ordering the same drink 20 minutes apart can result in drinks of different color (the Lillet - first one was a passionate red color, the second looked more pinkish and watered down). One small down side however, we came as a group of 6 and wanted to stay outside on the terace. The only seats available outside for 6 or more people did not have cover (they were next to the terrace) so we stayed inside.

Had a delicious pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato fries. Menu changes seasonally. Friendly service. Love the decor and the porch swing. *Edit: new seasonal menu* Holiday salad with chicken breast strips, cranberries, feta cheese, and walnuts. I chose the balsamic dressing, and it tasted very good. (The chicken was an add-on item). In the background is the Las Vegas burger. *Edit: new seasonal menu Feb 2020* Ordered the 1/2 meter Pizza Caprese with extra mozzarella. Delicious.

The food is delicious and the staff are very friendly. Recommended to book first otherwise you can have a looooong wait for a table especially at the weekend and on Bank Holidays.

I love this place. Whenever we're in the area, we go there. The location looks really nice - like you're on holiday somewhere near the beach and the drinks as well as the food are really tasty. A speciality is the half meter pizza which is really good, too.
